Science in Practice: A Day at the Faculty of Science, Charles University

Our students experienced science and geography lessons directly at the Faculty of Science, Charles University.

They visited an interactive exhibition of map collections and a cartographic archive, where they learned how maps are created and how our understanding of the world has evolved over time. During a guided tour of the mineralogical collection, they explored minerals up close and gained insight into their properties and formation.

The day showed how powerful the connection between theory and practice can be. Learning becomes more meaningful and stays with students much longer.
