Bilingual environment

We teach bilingually because this approach provides children with essential language skills for communication in a global world. Fifty percent of instruction is delivered in English by native speakers. Children will also encounter English in after-school care, during project days, and, of course, in extracurricular activities with their friends.

Development and support

In elementary school, each class is supported by three educators: a Czech teacher for Czech subjects, a native English speaker for English subjects, and a teaching assistant who is continuously present in the classroom. In junior high school, along with two class teachers (Czech and English) and an assistant, subject specialists are also involved, often teachers from our Fostra Gymnasium. We use our own methodology, which is based on modern methods, project-based learning, and an emphasis on practical skills. We set clear boundaries and encourage children in independent decision-making and problem-solving.
